The 2015+ Subaru WRX features a low-mount turbocharger that generates immense heat in a concentrated area. The Torque Solution Thermal Turbo Blanket (Volcanic Rock) is engineered to isolate that heat, keeping it inside the turbo housing where it belongs. By maintaining higher exhaust gas temperatures inside the turbine, you’ll experience faster turbo spool and reduced lag, while simultaneously protecting sensitive engine components from heat damage.

Why Volcanic Rock (Basalt)?
Unlike traditional fiberglass blankets that can become brittle and break down over time, this blanket is constructed from crushed volcanic rock (Basalt fiber). This material is naturally resistant to extreme heat and chemicals, making it the most durable option for high-performance Subaru builds. It is designed to withstand 1800°F of direct heat and up to 2500°F of radiant heat.
