The S1 cams are a street‑friendly upgrade, featuring roughly 268° intake and 266° exhaust durations, designed to provide increased power and torque while maintaining good spool and drivability, ideal for moderately built engines and daily drivers. The S2 cams are a more aggressive option, with durations around 272° intake and 272° exhaust, suited for higher horsepower builds with larger turbos or ported heads; they require upgraded components and careful tuning, and while they offer greater performance, they may compromise idle smoothness and low‑end spool. The S3 cams are the most extreme, with durations around 282° intake and exhaust, intended for high‑rpm, high‑horsepower race builds; these require a fully built engine, ported heads, standalone engine management, and advanced supporting modifications, and are less practical for street use due to reduced low‑end torque and drivability.
